Had the pleasure of meeting Elaine today. I was quite surprised and honestly very worried about what she told me regarding Ciar's "Family Emergency". If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
I'm assuming if I tell you there's a lull in my business that it wouldn't surprise you. Any information would be appreciated.

Ari,
Thanks for your email, and your offer of help.
Yes, it's just a little worrying, especially since it's not just, as we first thought, Ciar's "emergency". Aidan and his Mate, Lys, were the first to fall sick and we were hoping they were just suffering some sort of reaction to something in the apartment perhaps. However, once Dan's brother, Noah, also started showing the same symptoms, that kind of put that theory to rest since he and Aidan don't exactly take tea together, if you get my meaning.
At the moment, I'm totally at a loss as to just what any of us can do. The three of them are currently under isolation in our infirmary, under the care of Elizabeth and Evie, who are working shifts and doing their damndest, which is a good damndest. But it's difficult to find a cure when, as you obviously know, the illness itself shouldn't be happening. Elizabeth has a background which makes her something of an authority on Werewolves specifically, and if she's confounded by it all, then that tells me there's definite cause for worry.
I've noticed a lull myself, so your news doesn't surprise me. It would seem that this illness, whatever it is, is also affecting the Vampires since we've hardly seen any this week. Indeed, we've had more reports of Werewolf attacks than Vamp attacks, and given the considerably more sizeable population of Vamps in the city, that's what's surprised me the most. So far as we know, there are only around a half dozen members of the Werewolf pack, and if they're doing more damage than the Vamps...well, it makes me wonder just what it is we're dealing with.
I'm sure you won't think too badly of me if I profess just a little element of "pissed to the extreme" at the notion that our Wolves are in the state they're in when the other bastards don't seem to be slowed down in the slightest. Also, and this confuses me all the more with the reduction in Vamp attacks, but we have a Werecat on staff too, and she's completely unaffected. In fact everyone is except for the three Wolves. Just what sort of thing is it that singles out Werewolves and Vampires? I mean, it's not as though they're connected in any way.
Other than that, I only wish I had more information to give you. If we hear any more, then naturally I'll let you know. I'd appreciate it if you could reiprocate.
Anyway, I'm sorry this is a little short, and if the tone seems a bit off. I've just come off night duty. I'm doing a double tour since, with Noah MacNamara out of commission, plus another member of the team, a few of us are having to double up to cover.
Give my regards to Charcie, and I'm glad that your workload's taken a dip. I just wish it didn't seem to be tied in with having three of our people down.

Thanks for the information. The situation in general given Vamps and Wolves is, at best, very strange.
I can definitely see where you'd be pissed to the extreme, I certainly would be if it were my group involved.
If you're running sort staffed let us know if you need and extra set of eyes.
Charcie says hello, and please give our best to Ciar, Aidan and Dan.
